8th November - Remembrance Day. Today representatives of all of our sections from Beavers to Leaders attended St Michaels Church in Aveley for their Remembrance day service.

29th September 2009 - Orsett Fire Station The Beavers today visited Orsett Fire Station and had a guided tour of the site. As can be seen in the pictures plenty of water was hosed around and people got very wet. Our thanks to Orsett for taking the time to show the Beavers a good time.

27th June 2009 District Beaver Fun Day The Beavers enjoyed a glorious sunny day filled with  organised activities. These included games such as penalty shoot outs, stomp rockets, hurdle racing and Frisbee throwing. A good day was had by all who attended.

12th - 13th June 2009 Beaver Sleepover. For many of the Beavers this joint sleepover with the Cubs was their first experience of camping and also being away from their parents. A small camp fire, plenty of games and a late night in the hall lead to tired but happy Beavers being collected the following day.
