Belhus Park Scout Group

8th November - Remembrance Day. A good turnout from all of our sections meant we were well represented at the service at St Michaels Church in Aveley. As a number of our members regularly undertake sporting activities on a Sunday it was especially pleasing seeing them make their own small sacrifice to show their support on this day.

5th July - Family Fun Ride. A good time was had by all with our annual ride around Belhus Woods in South Ockendon. We also managed to raise nearly £1000 for the group.

15th May - AGM: The AGM was a great success with the Cubs putting on some entertainment for those attending. This included comedy skits, street dancing and Irish dancing. The Scouts and Beavers both had videos and picture shows showing some activities that they have recently undertaken. One of the Cubs also gave a demonstration of a stop motion animated film he is working on.
